Opened in 1986, the Cremation Centre, at Elgin Mills Cemetery, was the first of its kind in the area. Outfitted with Mount Pleasant Group’s modernized, advanced cremator technology system in 2014, the centre was designed with witnessing in mind and can host about 100 guests. An extension of the Visitation Centre, families can now have a chapel service, cremation and reception after an interment service all in one location and with the new cremation technology all of this can be completed in one day.
